Vegan Yarn is a dye studio based in New Westminster, BC. They dye yarn and fibre for knitters, crocheters, spinners, and weavers, all of which is made from animal-free fibres. As Owner Heidi Braacx explains, “We work mindfully to create beautiful things that exist for more than their own sake, that do not exist at the expense of someone’s happiness but as work of art that are made of freedom, compassion, and joy.”
Kristan MacIntyre is a locally based jeweler who makes tools for knitters and crocheters. The items are cleverly disguised as jeweler so you can have them on you at all times. Need a darning needle? Stitch marker? You’ve got it!
