Don’t forget to print out the 2017 Passport so that you can collect Passport Stamps as you visit each location on the crawl.  Leave the completed passport at your final stop, and you will be entered to win one of our Woolith Fair Prizes.  Details about the prizes will be coming soon, so be sure to come back to check it out!

Parking: Urban Yarns Point Grey is located on West 10th Ave between Sasamat and Trimble as one heads toward UBC. It is easily accessed by the 14 or 99 bus routes. Metered parking is available on the street.

urbanNv2Urban Yarns Lonsdale is our newest location and replaces our old store in Edgemont Village. It is located on Upper Lonsdale Ave between 17th and 18th Street, next door to Brown’s Social House. Transit is easy from Lonsdale Quay and the Seabus by route 229 or 230 or by bus from downtown Vancouver on the 240 or 241. If you are driving, take the Lonsdale Exit (18) from Highway 1 and proceed downhill for 6 blocks. Free street parking is available on Lonsdale and 18th.

Crawl Stop Feature: Fibre Art Studio, Granville Island, Vancouver


The Fibre Art Studio offers luxury yarns that are not in any other store and have been hand dyed/painted by the studio members.  The studio also features the work (weaving, tapestry weaving, felting, knitting) of 5 textile artists.

Wool & Wicker is owned and managed by Diane DeBray, a knitter and crocheter of 57 years of experience.  Diane is the originator of the West Coast Knitter’s Guild, and has 32 years experience in the retail yarn business.  Featured items at Wool & Wicker include the following:

Parking:  If there is no parking on Second Avenue, customers can park in the parking lot behind the store. You can access this via an alley that is entered  from Steveston Coffee on the North end, or from behind Ichiro’s Restaurant the South end. Crawl Stop Feature: Once Upon a Sheep, Maple Ridge

The Shepherd’s Heart Society is a non-profit society and the sole proprietor of the Once Upon a Sheep Yarn Shop. The Society’s Mission is to provide the community with a local yarn shop that carries quality yarns and knitting products, as well as an inviting atmosphere to enjoy your craft.

All profits are channeled to support The Salvation Army Ridge Meadows Ministries, The shop is completely run by a group of dedicated volunteers.
